About

History

Yellow Comedy was formed by Andrew Carberry aka Carbs in May 2015 to provide a platform for the best up and coming stand up comedians from South West Herts and the UK open mic scene and beyond to perform to a warm, friendly and welcoming audience.

Since then we have grown and produced over 200 shows in such veritable locations as Carpenders Park, Chesham, Croxley Green, Harrow, Islington, Little Chalfont, London Bridge, Rickmansworth, St. Albans and Watford.

Yellow Comedy Today

Yellow Comedy was unfortunately not running Comedy shows due to the worldwide coronavirus epidemic but will be returning soon to South West Herts.

All our shows we run in at the past are aimed at an over 18s audience.

Our Promoter and MC Andrew Carberry (pictured) has been performing Stand Up and Sketch Comedy since 2014 across the UK and has also appeared at the Bedford, Camden, Edinburgh and Henley Fringe Festivals as well as the London Improv Festival with Sketch Troupe The Bosun's Delight.

Our official photographer is Diane Richardson.

possible we need your help in following these simple rules and procedures.

Yellow Comedy WILL NOT TOLERATE: discriminative behaviour, verbal abuse, shouting at performers, staff or fellow audience members, sexual abuse, bullying, online abuse, physical violence, racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, harrassment or ANY behaviours that put staff at our venues, performers, Yellow Comedy Staff or other audience members at risk or cause unnecessary upset.

There will be Yellow Comedy Staff at all events. You can ask at the bars of our shows and they will advise you who this is. If you witness any of the above behaviour or have any concerns, please find someone and report it at the earliest opportunity.

- While we want you to be supportive of Yellow Comedy performers, please keep all communications with performers in line with the aforementioned rules. Continually talking during performances, excessive heckling and any of the discrimination mentioned above is not acceptable.

- Anyone found to be breaking any of these rules will be ejected from Yellow Comedy shows without a refund on their purchased ticket. We reserve the right to refuse entry to future shows. Please keep this in mind with all interactions.

- If you have any issues or concerns that do not involve safeguarding matters, you can

contact myself  Andrew Carberry at Yellow Comedy via email: yellowcomedyuk@gmail.com or through our our website contact page or via our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
